The swan inspired the guilloché design of a swan feather under the white lacquer on the cap of this Montblanc LUDWIG II 4810. For instance, the swan was symbol ennobled by the Lohengrin saga and, in addition, consecrated as a recurring motif in Ludovico’s castles:

Il cigno ha ispirato il disegno guilloché di una piuma di cigno sotto la lacca bianca sul cappuccio di questa Montblanc LUDWIG II 4810. Infatti il cigno fu simbolo nobilitato dalla saga di Lohengrin e consacrato come motivo ricorrente nei castelli di Ludovico.

testa e il collo di un raffinato cigno danno forma all’elegante clip rivestita in oro in tonalità champagne.
Inoltre, sull’anello del cappuccio rivestito in oro color champagne è incisa la sigla “WWV 75”, codice assegnato al “Lohengrin” nel catalogo delle opere di Wagner.
L’edizione richiama il celebre castello fiabesco con una fine incisione di Neuschwanstein sul pennino realizzato a mano in oro Au 750, e anche con la forma del cono, ispirato alle sue torrette.
Ia lacca blu del bariletto è ispirata dal colore dell’abito che indossa il visionario re delle fiabe in uno dei suoi ritratti più famosi.
