Virginia Woolf was one of the most significant writers of the 20th century and an ante litteram classic of modernity. Considered the inventor of the interior monologue, she wrote fundamental novels of modern literature, such as Mrs. Dalloway or The Waves.
Montblanc Virginia Woolf Limited Edition has the body, with a slightly rounded shape, in precious black resin with finely engraved waves with a guilloché effect, which is reminiscent of his literary masterpiece.
The most fascinating detail is the faceted ruby on the golden clip, symbol of Virginia Woolf’s singular and avant-garde style. Moreover, the 18K gold nib reveals the tragic end of this successful writer. In fact the two elm trees of her Sussex estate, under whose shade Virginia Woolf’s ashes were scattered in 1941, are depicted for eternity in a masterful engraving on the handcrafted nib.
