Herbert von Karajan,as probably one of the greatest conductors ever,will be the third artist to be honoured by Montblanc following Leonard Bernstein and Yehudi Menuhin.
He was perhaps the grates of all conductors. One of Karajan’s most important lifetime objectives was to secure his artistic and musical legacy for future generations.He was determineted that his work should unite cultures and nations for beyond the rache of music alone .
The precious resin cap inlaid with the Montblanc Star and the faceted .ivory colured tring in shape of a keyboard pay tribute to Karajan’s early career in Vienna .The platinum plated clip is in the form of a conductor’s baton.

Il cappuccio in preziosa resina nera fregiato della stella di Montblanc e di un anello color avorio a forma di tastiera di pianoforte vuol rappresentare un tributo al maestro in quanto pianista.
La clip platinata e impreziosita da un raffinatissimo intarsio a forma di bacchetta è un capolavoro artigianale e un riconoscimento all’ immenso lascito dell’artista.
